There’s a certain direction we want to go for, a feeling that we want our work to evoke. The funny thing is, we’re not sure what it actually is or how to get there majority of the time. How is it possible to hit a target when you don’t know where the bull’s eye is? We just know that we haven’t reached that point yet because our gut tells us so. The journey to finding and reaching that style we’re vying for is long, tedious, and (mostly) depressing. But what inspires me to continue is what this one man said, that it is only through a huge volume of work that we are able to close the gap between what we are able to make now and what we desire our creations to be.
